City planner Mark Brendanawicz works with Leslie and Ann to help them navigate through the defensive bureaucrats and developers, but has been jaded by 15 years of working for the city of Pawnee.

I also dont watch much TV anymore, but Parks and Rec is one I still really enjoy. Her boss Ron Swanson becomes a serious problem to the success of her project, in part due to his philosophical opposition to the government. Diane Hi Negin, Ron Swanson is my favorite character on that show. Leslie is helped, as well as undermined, by co-worker Tom Haverford, who routinely uses his position in the department for his own personal gain. In her path are the typical defensive bureaucrats, selfish neighbors, real estate developers and single-issue fanatics determined to prevent her from doing any good in her community.
Summary: While Ron attends his woodworking awards dinner, the rest of the office goes out for their annual Jerry dinner. Leslie Knope is a mid-level government employee who is trying to convert an abandoned construction pit into a usable community park. Starring: Rashida Jones, Rob Lowe, Adam Scott, Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Chris Pratt, Aziz Ansari, Aubrey Plaza, Jim OHeir, Retta, Eric Isenhower. Season 5 Episode 9 of Parks and Recreation resulted in a 1.50 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Meanwhile, Jerry hosts a holiday party at his home with his wife, and some of his friends are shocked to find they were not invited.
Ron, Diane, and Leslie attend a wood working awards dinner, after one of Ron's handcrafted chairs is nominated, but the happy occasion is threatened by the arrival of Tammy II.
